I think I first saw this title in the bookstore of Castillo San Felipe del Morro, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Oh, Ranger!: True Stories from our National Parks, by Mark J. Saferstein, appears to be in the same intended spirit as this blog.

Whereas, we hope that our family blog shares our adventures and experiences in visiting various national parks, Oh, Ranger! shares the true experiences of National Park Rangers. Saferstein’s book was inspired by an earlier book, also entitled Oh Ranger — A Story about the National Parks, by Horace Albright, published in 1928.

I put it on my Amazon.com wish list and hope to read them in the near future. I already highly recommend Desert Solitaire: A Season in the Wilderness, by Edward Abbey, to anyone who has visited or intends to visit Arches National Park and (to a lesser extent) Canyonlands National Park.
